Brinkmann Smoke'N Pit Horizontal Charcoal/Wood Smoker & Grill

This large capacity Brinkmann Smoke N Pit horizontal charcoal & wood smoker incorporates an offset firebox, a design favored by many smoke cooking enthusiasts. A wood or charcoal fire is built inside the Brinkmann Smoke N Pit firebox for indirect cooking. The indirect cooking method works by drawing air into the Brinkmann Smoke N Pit firebox, then through the cooking chamber where the hot air and smoke slow-cook the food.

An adjustable air vent in the Brinkmann Smoke N Pit firebox and the smokestack damper combine to regulate the heat and smoke. This Brinkmann Smoke N Pit smoker also functions as a large capacity grill by building a fire in the Brinkmann Smoke N Pit cooking chamber. The Brinkmann Smoke N Pit firebox converts nicely to a grill for cooking smaller meals. Constructed of super heavy-gauge steel with welded hinged lids and seams.

Other Brinkmann Smoke N Pit special features include two easy-to-clean porcelain-coated cooking grills, three steel charcoal grates, a heat shield, special brackets in cooking chamber for three adjustable cooking levels, Brinkmann Smoke N Pit wooden utility shelf and handles that stay cool, wood storage rack and molded wheels.

Low Cooking Position

The Smoke n Pit is very versatile and can be configured in several different ways. To the right the illustration shows how the Brinkmann Smoke N Pit grills can be moved to a low position to allow more room on top.

Top Cooking Position

This illustration shows how the Brinkmann Smoke N Pit grills can be moved to the top to accommodate direct heat cooking by adding an additional Brinkmann Smoke N Pit grate. A higher position will allow heat to rise to the bottom of the meat.

Grilling in the cooking chamber

The Brinkmann Smoke N Pit can also be used as a charcoal grill by adding an additional grate to the bottom of the cooking chamber as shown in the illustration.
